About Dr. Lipkin
Dr. Adam P. Lipkin received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the prestigious University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He then completed a 5 year residency in General Surgery at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of North Carolina. He is
Certified by the American Board of Surgery and was inducted as a
Fellow in the American College of Surgeons in 2004.
Dr. Lipkin has been practicing General Surgery in Southwest Florida since 2001. He knows that facing an operation is a difficult time in your life, no matter how minor the procedure. That is why he takes pride in his ability to communicate with patients and will take the time to explain your condition and the treatment options. He wants to hear all of your questions so you can be comfortable and informed. He goes out of his way to prevent and minimize any pain associated with surgical procedures. Dr Lipkin has operating privileges at
Murdock Ambulatory Surgery Center and at Englewood Community Hospital, where he serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery. He specializes in hernia repair and has seen tremendous progress as laparoscopic techniques have evolved leading to less pain, faster recovery, and fewer restrictions in activity.
